1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Minute Chinese application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

These Terms apply to all users of the App, including without limitation users who are browsers, learners, and contributors of content.

2. Description of Service

Minute Chinese is a Mandarin Chinese language learning application provided by Nysphere ("we," "us," or "our"). The App offers sentence-based spaced-repetition study sessions, audio pronunciation, and vocabulary management features.

3. User Accounts

To access certain features of the App, you must register for an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete registration information
• Maintain the security of your account password
• Promptly notify us of any unauthorized use of your account
• Be responsible for all activities that occur under your account

You may not transfer your account to any other person or entity. We reserve the right to terminate accounts at our discretion.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the App to:

• Violate any applicable law or regulation
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the App or its servers
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the App or its related systems
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the App
• Use automated scripts to access the App in a manner that could overwhelm its servers
• Impersonate any person or entity or falsely represent your affiliation with any person or entity

5. Intellectual Property

The App and its original content, features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of Nysphere and its licensors. The App is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws of both the United States and foreign countries.

Dictionary data is sourced from CC-CEDICT, which is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 3.0 license.

6. Subscriptions and Payments

Some features of the App may require a paid subscription. All subscription billing is handled by Apple through the App Store. By subscribing, you agree to Apple's terms of service in addition to these Terms.

Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID account settings.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Nysphere shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your use of or inability to use the App.

9. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the App immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, third parties, or for any other reason at our sole discretion.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the App after changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
